Bearcats Crush UCF/SMU

Cincinnati claims best ranking since Logan. No, not the movie.

The Week In Retrospect

UC has made it a regular thing of late to smoke top 75 RPI teams.. and this week proved no different.

In addition, Cincinnati is ranked the highest since Steve Logan was in red and black (back in the final poll of 2002).

All aboard the hype train!

Bearcats destroyed UCF 77-40 on Tuesday to extend the nations longest home winning streak to 39. Then on Sunday evening, they decimated the Ponies of Dallas by the final score of 76-51; handing them their worst loss since they joined the AAC.

Through both games – it was an equal distribution of who produced for the Cats. The UCincy Bearcats currently sit at a Projected 2 seed by the Bracket Preshow via Joe Lunardi.  Which bodes will for a team that hasn’t even hit the “quality opponents” in conference yet.

Next Week Look Ahead

The Bearcats are legit.

They seriously look like they are on a mission to make it to San Antonio come April.

This coming week is probably the biggest week for the team since Crosstown week.

This coming week is the time to silence the doubters.

Bearcats can roll into Houston and crush the Coogs, then come back on Sunday and beat the 19th Ranked Shockers.

If they win these two games; this team controls it’s own destiny for March.

As we round third and head for home on this season.. everybody sit back and smell the roses and enjoy the run this team is on. At the same time, buckle up, because the Cats aren’t done yet.
