#FreeBurfict
Earlier in the game the Chiefs ran the same play with Sherman across the middle and the pass was completed. What Elite LB in the NFL is going to allow that to happen twice in a row? A 3 game suspension for making a tactical football decision. Thanks Roger.

The NFL Is Basically Sarcasti-Ball
South Park nailed it. You can force a player to hit only certain areas to protect people from getting hurt. But we’re WELL past that and it is making the NFL exceedingly harder to watch. What better way to distract from the drama of players having a tea party during the National Anthem than to “crack down” on a repeat offender like Tez.

He’s A Changed Man
Granted, Vontaze is known for being one of the hardest hitting LB’s in the league. While that is still unflinchingly true – the darker side of the same coin is changing rapidly. He just doesn’t fit the narrative as the “dirtiest” player in the league anymore. No off-field arrests. Marvin Lewis stands behind him and his style of play. He had an opportunity to MASSACRE Evans on this play – watch what he does instead:
55 could've easily faded Evans but nah…. cmon @NFL pic.twitter.com/edlYEkTjiR

Marvin Lewis staunchly defends Burfict. Thought hit was legal. Called suspension “possible.” “Vontaze has changed.” #bengals

As he should've. Hit wasn't illegal. But as usual, @nflcommish & the NFL target Burfict. If it's NE or PIT, nothing happens.
