Final Bengals 2018 Draft Wishlist

Who will the Bengals take at #21?

The draft is tomorrow! So we narrowed down our Bengals 2018 Draft Wishlist.

Possible Bengals selections and notes below:

OG Isiah Wynn

Played LT at Georgia, but now he’s moving to guard. The Bengals need a guard and Wynn is a mauler with a great run blocking technique. Pass blocking isn’t anything to write home about, but he’ll still help secure the wynn most of the time (get it?!). He’s consistent and that’s something the Bengals need badly. Great run blocker + Good pass blocker + room to get better in both areas = a great option at 21. Huge improvement.

OG Will Hernandez

This dude is freaking strong. Great run blocker. Pass blocking needs work. In college, Hernandez got away with pass rushers using his strength. He has the tools to fix it; it’s just a matter of coaching. Hernandez would open holes every snap for Mixon.

C James Daniels

After Prices injury, Daniels became the best center. James Daniels is a great run blocker and a better pass blocker. Extremely Athletic. Might struggle a tad year one, but he has the upside to be elite.

LB Rashaan Evans

Evans is the type of linebacker the Bengals NEED. Hard hitter, great instincts. As soon as he wraps you up, you’re done. He wins point of attack every time and reminds me of Burfict a lot. Evans needs to work on pursuit, getting off blocks, and staying healthy. An ongoing groin injury keep flaring up and the Bengals need a linebacker who can stay on the field. Not seeing Evans as a real option at #21.

QB Lamar Jackson

No, you shut up. It’s possible. Not saying we should, but Mike Brown loves drafting his QBs. Lamar wouldn’t be ready to start for like 3 years but his name keeps popping up with us. Of course Dalton is the GGOAT, but Lamar could be the next up. I mean, I don’t really want him, but it’s possible.

OT Mike McGlinchey

We no longer need a LT, but we still kind of need a RT. McGlinchey has the size and above average pass blocking for a RT. Good run blocking too, plus – it’s no secret the Bengals love him. If he falls to 21, I’m 99% sure he’s the pick.
